What are the meal plan options for dining?

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you would like to purchase a meal plan, or make changes to your existing meal plan, please contact Yung Park at (610) 917-1457.

 

Unlimited Plan

 Includes $40 Patriot Dollars and $10 Community Dollars        

 

190 Meal Plan

Includes $50 Patriot Dollars and $20 Community Dollars        

 

140 Meal Plan 

Includes $70 Patriot Dollars and $30 Community Dollars        

 

Patriot Plan    

Includes $500 Patriot Dollars and $50 Community Dollars

Freshman students are required to have the Unlimited Plan.

Students residing in an apartment on campus are required to have the Patriot Plan.

Do students have to have a meal plan? How can I purchase or change my meal plan?

All students are required to have a meal plan.  First year students are required to use the Unlimited Plan and students residing in an apartment are required to use the Patriot Plan. Mealplans may be purchased through Yung Park at (610) 917-1457.

What are Patriot Dollars?

Patriot Dollars are additional funds included with each meal plan. These funds can be used for purchases in the Dining Commons or at Jazzman's Brew & Bakery. Students and University staff can also purchase additional Patriot Dollars in any amount.

 

 

What are Community Dollars?

The Community Dollars Program is a cooperative platform created to be the ultimate compliment to your college dining experience. Community Dollars are included with your meal plan and expire at the end of each semester. These funds may be used in The Dining Commons, at Jazzman’s Brew & Bakery, as well as at our participating off campus merchants located in Phoenixville.

If I need more Patriot Dollars, how can I add on to my ID card?

Additional Patriot Dollars can be purchased at the following locations:

  • Click Here to Add Funds **Be sure to include 00 before your ID# when logging in
  • At the Dining Commons cash register
  • In the Dining Service Office located in The Commons  
Please note, It may take up to 48 hours for the funds to be applied to your ID card.

All Patriot Dollars attached with the meal plans expire at the end of the semester. Any additional Patriot Dollars added by the student will roll over from Fall to Spring semester but expire at the end of the academic year.

What if I have special dietary needs or if I am on a medically restricted diet?

We encourage students with dietary restrictions to reach out to the University Health Center or Dining Services for additional information.

Can I bring guests to the Dining Hall?

We encourage you to bring a guest to the Dining Commons or Jazzman's Brew & Bakery!  If you would like to pay for your guest, we accept cash, credit cards, and Patriot or Community Dollars. Students on the 140 or 190 meal plan can use an additional meal swipe for guests. Students on the Unlimited Plan may not swipe guests into the Dining Commons unless paying with cash, credit, Patriot or Community Dollars.

Does dining services serve the same food daily?

Our menu changes daily! We also offer daily and seasonal specials in the Dining Commons and at Jazzman's Brew & Bakery.  Our daily menu is available on our app, Bite by Sodexo. You can download the app for free from iTunes or GooglePlay.

 

 

Does Dining Services hire student employees? If so, what jobs are available and how do I apply?

Yes, we hire student employees through the University of Valley Forge Co-Op program. We have several positions available including nights and weekend please contact
